Every website I build is designed and coded from scratch, using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. No WordPress, no Squarespace, no Wix. That means faster load times, cleaner code, and a site that looks exactly like your brand, not like everyone else using the same template.
I start with a discovery process, a survey that gets to the heart of your business, your audience, and what you actually need the site to do. Then I design and build around that.
You're Never Locked Out
Every site I build comes with a simple content management system, so you're never stuck waiting on me for small updates. Change your phone number, update your hours, add a blog post, or adjust your pricing, all from a simple login, no coding required.
I handle the bigger stuff: new pages, design changes, structural updates. But the everyday things stay in your hands.
The Process
Every project starts the same way, with questions that matter. I send a discovery survey before I design a single thing. It covers your brand, your audience, your competitors, and what success looks like for you. That's what makes the final result feel like yours.
① Discovery Survey
Before anything is designed, I send a survey covering your business, audience, aesthetic preferences, and goals. This is what one client called "simple yet poignant questions," it's the foundation everything else is built on.
② Strategy + Planning
Based on your survey answers, I map out the site structure, page goals, and copy direction. Every page has a job, and we define it before the first line of code is written.
③ Design + Build
Custom design, coded from scratch. No templates, no drag-and-drop builders. Clean HTML, CSS, and JavaScript that loads fast and looks intentional on every screen size.
④ Review + Launch
You review the site, we make refinements, and then we launch. I handle domain connection, Google Analytics setup, and Search Console submission, so your site is findable from day one.

One payment, no monthly platform fees. The only ongoing cost is your domain renewal, typically $10 to $15 a year, paid to your domain registrar, not to me.

Once your site launches, it's yours to update anytime through the CMS. Anything beyond that, new pages, redesigns, added features, is quoted separately based on the work.
Questions I Hear a Lot
Do I have to pay you every month?
No. It's a one-time investment for the build. The only ongoing cost is your domain renewal, usually $10 to $15 a year, which you pay directly to your domain registrar, not to me.
What if I need to update something later?
Every site includes a simple content management system, so day-to-day things like your phone number, hours, pricing, or blog posts are yours to update anytime, no coding needed, no cost. How is this different from Wix or Squarespace?
Your site is built in clean, custom code that you fully own, not hosted inside someone else's platform. That means faster load times, no monthly subscription, and a site that's genuinely yours.
I don't have photos or write-ups ready, can we still start?
Yes. The discovery survey helps figure out what we actually need, and I can guide you through gathering the rest as we go.
Do you work with businesses outside Sacramento?
Yes, this is a fully remote studio. Current and past clients include businesses in New Orleans, the SF Bay Area, Woodland CA, and Sacramento.
Do you build websites for HVAC, plumbing, or other trades?
Yes, trades are actually my main focus right now, carpenters, contractors, HVAC, and similar service businesses. If you're in a trade and don't have a real website yet, this is exactly the kind of project I love taking on.
What information do you need from me to get started?
Just enough to get the discovery survey moving, your business name, contact details, and a general sense of what you offer. The survey itself digs into the rest, your audience, your competitors, and what you want the site to do. If you don't have photos or write-ups ready yet, that's okay too, we can figure that out together.
What happens after my site launches?
You'll have full access to update your own content through the CMS. For bigger changes down the line, new pages, redesigns, or added features, I'm happy to help, that work is quoted separately from the original build.
